•  Mine Contracting

Groundhog is owned and operated by licensed contractors that are ready and willing to be your mining contractor on site. We have worked with contractors in the past on projects, including the Madison Mine, as well as having done work independently.

• Diamond Drilling

As opposed to reverse-circulation drilling, diamond drilling provides higher quality results from more revealing depths.  It displays a clearer picture of the underlaying rock type, structure, mineral composition, overall lithology, and provides more data for a geotechnical analysis.

• Mine Planning

The actual planning process of the mine can be harrowing, Groundhog Mining and Milling Co. can make that easier. We provide on-site or near site access of equipment, storage, dumping, and ore processing; as well as having experienced mining engineers on our team to account for everything from MSHA standards and legal documents/forms, to maintaining consistent and quality results.

• MSHA Compliance

We ensure all Groundhog project sites are compliant with MSHA standards and regulations, as well as maintaining an up-to-date SDS inventory. The health and safety of our staff, customers, and project partners is always a primary goal – every project, every time.

• Surveying/Assaying

We have an assortment of portable assay/geotechnical labs we can custom build to suit your project needs - for purchase or rent. 

• Excavating & Reclamation

Groundhog has the ability to engineer, design, develop, and build your operations from the ground up - or down. 

Groundhog is a fully equipped construction contractor capable of building surface infrastructure and of excavating both surface and underground developments on a large or small scale, by traditional methods or modern.

A mine operation is a many faceted, complex project that can be confusing and difficult to accomplish. We offer support management services to assist you in any exploration, development, production, and reclamation part of your mining process; with the experience of more than five generations of mining engineers.
